I have a grav bong about this size. I spent ages picking it out. I will probably never buy anything from grav again. It's not that the grav is bad. It's okay. This review isn't about my Grav, though; it's about this Recycler!
The grav has been relegated to combusting once in a while. This Recycler is my full-time unit.
Okay, onto the Recycler. My plan was to use this dry and ONLY with heaters. It works great with my Arizer Solo 2 and my Tinymight.
It wasn't much later that I decided to give water a try. That was when I was really surprised. Wow, this is a really discreet-sounding unit. When I'd take a hit with the grav, people from miles around could hear gurgles. This is a much deeper tone, quite satisfying, but it doesn't really carry at all.
I have not washed it, because I'm not doing any combusting with it. It stays really clean! I have continued to use water in it.
It also comes with a gorgeous bowl. I figure maybe someday when I need to clean it, I might indulge in a few actual combustion sessions first.
This is such a great design. It is sturdy, too. Yeah, it's glass, keep in mind, but it is sturdy glass, working glass. You will appreciate it for its strength and beauty.
I like how it looks, too. If you want an overpriced, pristine, Chinese-made bong, you can go with grav... sorry to be so negative. They're okay. I would not have bought one if I'd known this was out there, though. I have found the 420EDC-designed products I've used to be of the utmost quality.
