    my baby!

Published by Jesse on May 25th 2021

I tried really hard to just get a good heater out the gate and ended up with a tinymight. It's great, but it is really fiddly, always needs stirring, frequently needs cleaning. I also dropped it on the carpet from knee-level (I was squatting), and it broke! They replaced it, free, after a long wait. It's more powerful than my Argo, I think, "better" in many ways... but... It is the Argo that is the one I trust. It's hilariously simple to use, in comparison. I rarely clean the tubes, and I have NEVER cleaned the unit. The tubes don't get jammed easily, but when they do, then maybe you want to consider cleaning, or just poke it out with the ice pick. Easy to load, just jam it into freshly ground flower or dump some in from your tiStash. Easy to empty, just tap tap gently onto the ground (waster!) or, better yet, into your other TiStash that you keep for saving avb (or just eat it). The batteries are easier to change. It is smaller, more discreet. This is just a fantastically-designed unit, and I wish I would have gotten it in the first place and been done. (That said, I also have a Solo 2, and a person REALLY could get the two-fer deal, home and away, and check out the 420EDC bongs and glassware.) Other than the lower power, which I'm not sure you should care about (and it still has plenty of power... I can almost guarantee my tolerance is higher than yours gal), the only hindrance is that it is not an "on-demand" type thing. If you have it ready to go at a moments notice, you'll still have to turn it on and wait for it to heat up. With the Tinymight, you can just pull it out, hold the button, and start puffing. But that handiness is kind of canceled out by its lack of ease of use compared to the Argo. :( I'm excited to see what the Argo 2 will end up like. Maybe it will be able to do on-demand yet retain everything I love about Argo 1. By the way, notice I'm reviewing the megabox. Get the megabox. It's a great deal, and you will use all the stuff. If you truly find one of the items unused, give it to a friend. I have been delighted even with the stuff I didn't think I needed! The TiStash and tools are my favorite, and I use them daily. The protective cases and such are also fantastic. I think the Argo tube set is a good deal, too, and I'm glad I got it. However, doing it again, I could probably have skipped it and just bought more 420EDC-designed stuff instead. I'm more likely to just have one or two tubes with me at a time anyway, so they might as well be the 420EDC tubes (3D flow). The Arizer default glass is actually excellent, but the 420EDC stuff is objectively stronger. And if you're worried about cooling, those 3D flow divot things really do work, and I'm convinced the curve helps, too. The Argo runs really cool in my opinion, but cooler is never worse I guess. Choose the package that works best for you and will be useful. I've used and loved a lot of this stuff, and the above is my "if I could do it over again"--Argo and 420EDC gear, done and done. I now have a second TiStash, in fact, and yeah, I think a person could use more than two even :P
