We are a big advocate for the Herb Ripper and also the Iaso Goods stainless steel grinders that we carry here at 420EDC. While the New York Times didn't review the Iaso Goods gear, they should consider it for future grinder reviews.
If you are wondering which you should choose from what we support, it depends on the size you need. The magnets on the Herb Ripper are more robust whereas the Iaso Goods grinders aren't so snappy on the magnet side. Are sharp teeth what you are after? The Iaso Goods have super sharp teeth compared to the Herb Ripper design. The Herb Ripper has more options in terms of grind plates, now available in Fine and Coarse grind that can be bundled in with the 2" OG "Classic" or XL 2.5" as well as Storage Caps.
Storage Caps allow you to grind and go. Leave the grinder at home and take your base "catch" plate with Storage Cap out and about. If you are looking for bombproof storage, the Iaso Goods has three sizes of storage for your flowers. Choose from Travel, Classic &/or XL size.
