Description

From GRAV: 420EDC has brought the 16mm in to expand the Tinymight 2 & Limelight Frolic (via Direct Output Adapter) Glassware options.

Choose from two styles of 16mm Taster:

  • Upline Taster:  The Upline® Taster® is 3.5" long and made on 16mm tubing. Its extra-thick restrictions trap ash and ripple light, giving the impression of color and depth, and its mouthpiece is ergonomically designed. No accessories or water are necessary for using this hand pipe.  Fits the Tinymight 2 which allows flowers to be placed into the internal bowl while the glass cylinder array below the mouthpiece cool the aroma prior to exit via the crimped mouthpiece.  A screen is recommended in the bowl to keep material from pulling through.
  • Octo-Taster:  The silicone skin on the new 16mm GRAV® Octo-tasters is as bouncy and shock-absorbent as any rubber. The pinched mouthpiece acts as an ash catcher, and the cap at the end of the taster keeps your bud in place, making the new assembly truly pocketable and portable. The entire silicone skin comes off for easy cleaning, and you can just peel back the end cap during use. And instead of a normal restriction, the taster has a glass screen for an extra layer of filtration.  Silicone cover is removable and needed to work with the Tinymight 2.  Fits the Tinymight 2 which allows flowers to be placed into the internal bowl and an open design behind it allows the user to introduce cooling with synthetic corundum, borosilicate, metal or other material to act as a thermal mass and cool the vapor before exiting the mouthpiece.  In such an instance, it is recommended to use a firm fitting metal screen to hold material in place that sits behind the bowl ahead of the mouthpiece.

    Love it on the Frolic

This is a great setup for the Frolic, with the direct adapter. There’s a few ways to rock it; the way I’ve done it up was 1] cut it slightly shorter (mostly aesthetic), 2] pour in some boro/quartz/ruby beads, 3] use a propane torch and a dab tool to heat the glass then dimple the end of the tube to seal in the beads. It maintains the heat output very well. The beads plus the silicone tip are just a great combo for usability. I am surprised by the silicone, i didnt think I’d care for it but it’s dope. Especially that it protects the glass on both ends, chance of breakage is way reduced.
